Our Charity Donation - 2019 Annual Awards Presentation Dinner
During our Annual Christmas Lunch, held at Amapola Restaurant in the Principe Felipe Hotel, our members raised 100 euros to donate to "El Bueno Samaritano" charitable organization who help feed the poor in Cartagena.
At the same time, another 100 euros was raised for the charitable organization of the Spangles Chorus who encourage and teach local children to sing, giving them the opportunity to experience the joy of singing.

El Buen Samaritano
On behalf of El Buen Samaritano Charity we would like to thank all the members of the La Manga Bowls Club who bought raffle tickets at the annual dinner for their generous donation.
The money will go towards buying 1 month’s supply of fresh chicken for the food bank. This will feed approximately 500 poor people living in Cartagena. All the money goes directly to paying the butcher who delivers the food for us.
The food bank is in the centre of Cartagena and should you wish to visit we would be very happy to take you there to witness its work.
The charity also helps desperate people with temporary accommodation, clothing and advice.
